FOR THE VALLEY AVENUE RECYCLED WATER MAIN EXTENSION, <br /> CIP NO. 16148 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The project consisted of installing 4,496 linear feet of 12-inch and 403-linear-feet of 6- <br /> inch recycled water mains, a pressure reducing station, and six recycled water services. <br /> The project extended recycled water service down Valley Avenue to the Arroyo del <br /> Valle Bridge and installed an additional 1,095 linear feet south of the bridge prior to the <br /> Valley Avenue pavement reconstruction project. City Council awarded this contract to <br /> D&D Pipelines, Inc. on November 15, 2016. Construction of the project is complete and <br /> ready for City Council acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the project as complete. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the project. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $63,880.40 to D&D Pipelines, <br /> Inc. thirty days after the recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 4. Authorize the return of the project balance of $35,614 to the Water Replacement <br /> Fund balance. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for this project totaled $1,395,500 as outlined in Attachment 1. Expenditures <br /> totaled $1,359,886 leaving a balance of$35,614. <br />
