$65.00 hourly fee for in-house permit processing services. <br /> On-Call Field Inspection Services: <br /> 1. All field inspection shall be performed through the City Building and Safety Division and <br /> under the direction of City staff. <br /> 2. Consultant shall assign personnel who are professionally qualified by both experience <br /> and certification to perform commercial and/or residential construction inspections. All <br /> materials, resources, tools and training shall be supplied by the consultant. <br /> Inspection Services Compensation: <br /> $100.00 hourly fee for building inspection services covering building, plumbing, mechanical <br /> and electrical trades. <br /> Miscellaneous Services: <br /> 1. Code Enforcement: <br /> When requested and under the direction of the Chief Building Official, Consultant shall <br /> enforce the City Codes by inspection and when required investigation of complaints <br /> regarding sub-standard building conditions and when necessary, prepare cases for <br /> citation hearings, criminal proceedings in municipal court, and/or civil abatement <br /> proceedings. Fees for such services shall be paid on a time and material basis at the <br /> hourly rate as assigned for normal plan review work. <br /> 2. Emergency Preparedness: <br /> Under the direction of the Chief Building Official or other authorized representative of the <br /> City, the Consultant will assist the City of Pleasanton in emergency preparedness, <br /> building damage assessment and emergency response. <br /> 3. Emergency Operations Assistance: <br /> Consultant will maintain current skills in emergency response. Consultant hereby agrees <br /> to the following terms and conditions in the event of a local or regional emergency: <br /> a. Report into the City of Pleasanton Emergency Operation Center (EOC). Contract <br /> personnel will make a reasonable effort to report to the Chief Building Official, <br /> Permit Center or the City of Pleasanton EOC as soon as possible following a <br /> local or regional emergency. <br /> b. The Consultant shall provide contract personnel and Consultant resources <br /> available for emergency response at the same hourly rates and conditions <br /> specified in this Agreement. <br /> c. The CONSULTANT acknowledges that emergency response work may require <br /> variations in work hours and assignments. <br /> Miscellaneous Duties Compensation: <br />
