CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-108 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING GUIDELINES FOR A GENERAL PLAN <br />DISCUSSION FORUM <br /> <br />at its workshop of August 28, 2003, City Council expressed an interest in utilizing <br />the City's website as an information tool for the General Plan update process; and <br /> <br />specifically, Council discussed utilizing the web site to post the City's General <br />Plan so it can be accessed by members of the public, for posting minutes, staff <br />reports and miscellaneous information regarding the General Plan, and for listing <br />notices of public meetings regarding the General Plan; and <br /> <br />in addition, Council discussed the concept of implementing a "message board" <br />that could be used to solicit comments and discussion by the public regarding the <br />General Plan and the General Plan update process. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby adopts Guidelines for Use of City of Pleasanton General <br />Plan Message Forum, as set forth in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />The purpose of the General Plan Message Forum will be to provide a means of <br />soliciting conversation, discussion and comments regarding updating the City's <br />General Plan. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
