City of Pleasanton"As Needed Services" Bid#OSD-17-02-ANCS BUILDING MAINTENANCE STREET MEDIAN MULCH INSTALLATION Transport and Install City supplied wood chip mulch in existing street median landscapes. Wood mulch is available from the City Operations Center. Contractor will be responsible for loading, transporting and installing wood mulch to a depth of 5 inches. Contractor will also be responsible for traffic control and median work site clean-up on a daily basis. Scale of operation shall insure a minimum of 50 cubic yards per work day will be installed. Unit bid should take into account varying median size and design; and the resulting impact on installation costs and difficulty of installation. BID rr9P M The cost quoted below shall include all taxes and all other charges, including travel expenses, and is the cost the City will pay for the term of any contract that is a result of this bid. Contractor's Rate Scope of Work Rate per Cubic Yard Load, transport and install a minimum of 50 Cubic Yards per day Percent of mark-up on material: % Percent Mark-up on invoicing must be demonstrated as a percentage. Example: Material $1,000+ 10% ($100) =$1,100. Percent of mark-up on outside equipment: 2.0 % (equipment pre-approved by the City). Mark-up on invoicing must be demonstrated as a percentage.
