Mayor Throne stated he does not like the project across from BART, the City cannot restore all three <br /> lanes that were eliminated, and he would like to see options relative to placing, at least, two lanes back. <br /> He added he would opt for a six-month report from staff. <br /> No action was necessary. <br /> 13. Second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 2156 to amend the contract between the <br /> California Public Employees' Retirement System (CaIPERS) and the City of Pleasanton to include <br /> Section 20516 (Employees Sharing Additional Cost) of an additional 1.5% for Classic CaIPERS <br /> Local Fire Members of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department <br /> City Manager Nelson Fialho provided a brief staff report. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Olson/Pentin to waive second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 2156 <br /> amending the contract between the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CaIPERS) and <br /> the City of Pleasanton to include Section 20516 (Employees Sharing Additional Cost) of an additional <br /> 1.5% for Classic CaIPERS Local Fire Members of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. Motion <br /> passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> 14. Accept donation from Harrington Art Partnership and approve the location of public artwork, <br /> "American Dog" at Cubby's Dog Park <br /> City Manager Nelson Fialho provided a brief staff report. <br /> Councilmember Pentin stated he does not favor the artwork, commented on location of the dog bones, <br /> noted the proposed location is the entrance to the Marilyn Kane Trail, and reported he would like the <br /> artwork placed near the entrance to Cubby's. <br /> Councilmember Olson asked regarding the location of a plaque identifying the dog park. <br /> Councilmember Brown agreed with Councilmember Pentin's suggestion regarding placement of the <br /> artwork. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Pentin/Narum, to accept donation from Harrington Art Partnership and direct <br /> staff to find a more-suitable location, at the entrance to the Cubby's Dog Park, for "American Dog" at <br /> Cubby's Dog Park.
