3. Kaiser Permanente has contacted City staff and discussed some "blighted" areas they <br /> would like to improve with art, and have asked the City to partner with them on a mural for the <br /> outside of a building. The cost would be about $15,000. <br /> Ms. Crose advised that if the City is to consider committing to this consideration would be <br /> based on funds available July 1, 2017, funds for the project will also be committed by Kaiser. <br /> She advised that a staff report will be presented on this matter so the Commission can <br /> consider. Additionally, Ms. Crose provided Commissioners details of the proposed location of <br /> the mural. <br /> Chairperson Jellison asked that staff provide the Commission with a map of the location when <br /> this is brought to them for consideration. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, a motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting at <br /> 8:45 p.m. <br /> Civic Arts Commission Minutes <br /> March 6, 2017 <br /> Page 6 <br />
