ABSTAIN: None <br /> Commissioners discussed the need to inform City Council about the increase in needs in the <br /> community and asked that they consider increasing the formula for considering general funds <br /> for grant allocation. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Parekh, seconded by Commissioner Roby, <br /> recommending City Council consider changing the formula used to determine the general fund <br /> allocation to the Housing and Human Services Grant Program to increase funding for FY <br /> 2018/19 because of an over $400,000 shortfall in FY 2017/18 and five (5) agencies receiving <br /> no funds.
