Mayor Throne stated he does not like the project across from BART, the City cannot restore all three lanes that were eliminated, and he would like to see options relative to placing, at least, two lanes back. Accept donation from Harrington Art Partnership and approve the location of public artwork, "American Dog" at Cubby's Dog Park City Manager Nelson Fialho provided a brief staff report. Councilmember Pentin stated he does not favor the artwork, commented on location of the dog bones, noted the proposed location is the entrance to the Marilyn Kane Trail, and reported he would like the artwork placed near the entrance to Cubby's. Councilmember Olson asked regarding the location of a plaque identifying the dog park. Councilmember Brown agreed with Councilmember Pentin's suggestion regarding placement of the artwork. MOTION: It was m/s by Pentin / Narum, to accept donation from Harrington Art Partnership and direct staff to find a more - suitable location, at the entrance to the Cubby's Dog Park, for "American Dog" at Cubby's Dog Park.
