Procurement Contract No. 14812 <br /> water meters connected to the water system <br /> The meter reading service is optional. The County shall notify the Contractor if and when they <br /> chose to exercise this optional service. <br /> 2. Invoices will be approved by the County, Public Works Agency. <br /> 3. Total payment under the terms of this Agreement will not exceed the total amount of <br /> $675,000. This cost includes all taxes and all other charges. <br /> 4. Upon award of this Agreement by County, County and Contractor shall forthwith <br /> jointly create a schedule governing the timely performance of Contractor's services <br /> hereunder. The agreed upon schedule shall be incorporated into this Agreement upon <br /> its adoption by the parties and thereafter Contractor shall perform all services under this <br /> Agreement in conformance with the schedule. <br /> 5. Meter Reading Services for ALL property owner meters and Monthly Service Fee for <br /> Operation and Maintenance Services of Sewer and Water System will be adjusted based <br /> upon the annual percentage change reflected in the Annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) <br /> —All Urban Consumers for the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose area. <br /> 6. The City of Pleasanton reserves the right to renegotiate the terms of the contract in the <br /> event of a delay in the County's construction of the Castlewood Service Area Zone 2 <br /> Tanks Replacement project, see attached Supplemental A. The deficiencies in the <br /> existing tanks represents a potential for severe disruption of water delivery to <br /> Castlewood residents and the City of Pleasanton does not want to be held liable for such <br /> disruption. <br /> Exhibit B <br /> Page 6 of 6 <br />
