RESOLUTION NO. 17-922 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCEPTING THE <br /> MIDYEAR FY 2016/17 OPERATING BUDGET AND AMENDNG THE FY 2016/17 OPERATING <br /> BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> WHEREAS, staff periodically presents to the City Council reports regarding the financial <br /> condition of the City along with any recommendations for budget amendments and technical <br /> corrective actions needed, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council formally adopted the FY 2016/17 Operating Budget <br /> ("Budget") on June 21, 2016, and <br /> WHEREAS, staff prepared a Midyear Budget update that includes recommended <br /> amendments to the Budget. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE <br /> FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1: Ratifies adjustments approved by the City Manager and funded from the <br /> contingency totaling $68,000. <br /> SECTION 2: Approves transfer of $3,458,579 from the Lower Income Housing Fund to <br /> the Capital Improvement Project Reserve. <br /> SECTION 3: Amends the Budget, as outlined in Attachment 1. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on March 21, 2017. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the forgoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of March, <br /> 2017, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: Councilmember Olson <br /> Absent: Councilmember Pentin <br /> Abstain: None <br /> 41111A <br /> Ka <br /> -n Diaz, City Clerk <br /> AP' -OV _O` , TO FORM: <br /> Dan Sodergren, City orney <br />
