Regarding your decision to collect more data points, they are'actual people'suffering daily. Its not just a simple quantitative measure of data points, as it can't measure the dangers we and pedestrians are facing. We have traffic issues at Bemal and First Street, which was voted unanimously for improvement/widening;we have many pedestrians in downtown too. Hence by the same logic, Owens Drive needs widening ASAP. We can't have 2 set of standards. On Owens Drive, your traffic engineer had expressed concerns about shifting the median; I don't know, but people are really frustrated and the last thing we want to hear after 3 months is that'it's too difficult, hence we are not doing it,' It pains me and every citizen of Pleasanton that our precious land was'gifted or forcibly given to the builder'for free and we and our future generations can't get it back. That's terrible and please explore getting it back. Regarding the amendment lot, Hacienda Development, we did not understand the hesitancy; all we are asking is to protect the people of Pleasanton by saying a road will be used as a road; that's all. Anyways, looking forward to the widening of Owens Drive ASAP. Thanks, Repalle 1
