THE CITY OF <br /> I CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTONo <br /> March 21, 2017 <br /> City Council <br /> TITLE: COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> In accordance with commission appointment policies, in the spring and fall the City <br /> solicits applications from interested Pleasanton residents to serve on the City's standing <br /> commissions and committees, as well as on regional boards and commissions to which <br /> the City appoints representatives. <br /> This spring, the City solicited applications to fill unscheduled vacancies and for terms <br /> expiring April 30, 2017. Applications were received and interviews held. The Mayor's <br /> appointments are listed on the following page. To ensure continuity in service to the <br /> extent possible, the Mayor has included those commissioners who, as a result of other <br /> openings, are changing status from alternates to regular members. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> The Council is asked to ratify the Mayor's appointments to various City commissions <br /> and committees as listed in the attachment. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br /> Approve by: <br /> Nelson Fialho <br /> City Manager <br />
