The provisions of this chapter shall be administered and enforced in a manner to clearly establish the objectives <br /> and to express the desire of the city, community organizations and civic groups to locate industrial development <br /> in the Pleasanton area; <br /> B. To reserve appropriately located areas for industrial plants and related activities; <br /> C. To protect areas appropriate for industrial use from intrusion by dwellings and other inharmonious uses; <br /> D. To protect residential and commercial properties and to protect nuisance free, nonhazardous industrial uses from <br /> noise, odor, insect nuisance, dust, dirt, smoke, vibration, heat and cold, glare, truck and rail traffic and other ob- <br /> jectionable influences, and from fire, explosion, noxious fumes, radiation and other hazards incidental to certain <br /> industrial uses; <br /> E. To provide opportunities for certain types of industrial plants to concentrate in mutually beneficial relationship to <br /> each other; <br /> F. To provide adequate space to meet the needs of modem industrial development, including off-street parking and <br /> truck loading areas and landscaping; <br /> 55 (Pleasanton Supp.No.9,1-13) <br />
