We are but a few of the hundreds of Pleasanton residents who are negatively affected every day by the bad decision to reduce Owens Dr to a single lane. As it was made clear by many speakers the impact will increase as Pleasanton development increases. Please set an immediate lane restoration action to be prioritized at your March 14th Council Priority Workshop. Any delay of what is clearly needed only disregards the daily burden that this mistake adds to the lives of hundreds of Pleasanton citizens. We also request your support to request an amendment to the Hacienda development agreement that will not allow future lane reduction. I park in the BART reserved parking lot, and I can tell you it is impossible to get out of that lot (no matter what direction you go—left, right or straight ahead in the commute hours). To further exacerbate the issue there is only one way in and out of that lot which I believe is poor planning. In today's world I always think about and look for the quickest way out in case of a terrorist event. It would be total chaos with people in their cars trying to exit the BART lot.
