Annette Brecheisen
From: Pleasanton City Clerk
Subject: Prioritize the planning of East Pleasanton
SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
From: Frances Jensen Provided to the City Council
Sent:Tuesday, March 14, 2017 7:48 PM After Distribution of Packet
To: Mayor and City Council<citvcouncil @citvofpleasantonca.gov> --/S-/7
Subject: Prioritize the planning of East Pleasanton Date
03/14/2017
City Council
City of Pleasanton, CA
200 Old Bernal Avenue
Pleasanton, CA 94566
Via email to: citycouncil @cityofpleasantonca.gov
Dear Pleasanton City Council Members:
I support the East Pleasanton Neighborhood Plan as currently proposed. We can only preserve the character of
Pleasanton through careful planning and we need to take advantage of the privately funded amenities and rich
community benefits currently being offered. Let's make a plan through which you, the City Council, and all of
us can give our feedback and create something future generations will enjoy.
Please don't discount my opinion simply because there are others just like it. If anything, the similar requests
from our friends and neighbors should indicate the importance of prioritizing planning in East Pleasanton. I
urge you to support"Planned Progress"by voting to have the project included on the City 2017-2018 Priority
List Work Plan. This city must plan for it's growth in a way that is smart, controlled and has the community's
long-term interests in mind.
Sincerely,
Frances Jensen
1
