CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 810 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-7.08(a) (PERMITTED <br /> AND CONDITIONAL USES), ARTICLE 8 (C COMMERCIAL DIS- <br /> TRICTS), CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II (ZONING AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT) BY MODIFYING THE CATEGORY "FOOD STORES <br /> AND SUPERMARKETS" AND MAKING IT CONDITIONAL RATHER <br /> THAN PERMITTED IN CERTAIN ZONES <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection (a) of Section 2-7.08(a) (Permitted and <br />Conditional Uses), Article 8 (C Commercial Districts), Chapter 2 <br /> <br /> (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) relating to per- <br /> <br />mitted and conditional uses is amended by deleting the category <br />"food stores and supermarkets". <br /> <br />Section 2. Subsection (a) of Section 2-7.08(a) (Permitted and <br />iConditional Uses), Article 8 (C Commercial Districts), Chapter 2 <br /> <br /> (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) relating to permitted <br /> <br />and conditional uses is amended by adding to the list of condi- <br />tional uses "food markets including supermarkets, convenience <br />markets and specialty markets". Said category shall be listed <br />as conditionally allowed in the C-N (Neighborhood Commercial), <br /> <br />C-C (Central Commercial) and C-R (Regional Commercial) Districts. <br /> Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) <br /> days after its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper of <br /> general circulation, published and circulated in the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> <br /> of Pleasanton on January 24 , 1977. <br /> <br /> <br />
