i Thank you again for your interest in the City of Pleasanton Sincerely yours, Ellen Holmgren, Administrative Assistant City of Pleasanton From:Audrey Gould Sent:Sunday, February 05, 2017 4:37 PM To: Mayor and City Council<citycouncil @cityofoleasantonca.gov> Cc:Jeri Oh; Michael Gould Subject: High Density Housing- Irby Ranch Please note, I vote against the development of additional high density housing - Irby Ranch in Pleasanton The freeway system and city streets are not equipped to deal with the current volume of traffic between Livermore and Pleasanton The heavy flow of traffic is already creating an unsafe environment for all pedestrians crossing First Street and the city streets are backing up miles from the freeway entrances First Street has become the pass through street for many High density housing is changing what Pleasanton has been known for(below) If I wanted to live in an urban community, I would have moved to a big city like San Francisco The hillsides in the Tn-Valley area are already beginning to look like South San Francisco "Pleasanton is reported being number 4 by USA Today in "America's 50 best cities to live in" in 2014, number 63 in Moneys list of"The Best Places to Live" in 2010,1101 and was also named one of"Americans' Top Hometown Spots" in the United States in 2009 by Forbes 1111" I hope other members of this community express their concern as well, and this email is taken into consideration when making a decision whether to allow additional high density housing be developed in Pleasanton Regards, Audrey Gould ■, 2
