My husband and I will be sending
our son, a Foothill Falcon, off to college in the Fall. This transition is the beginning of his experiencing independence and
finding his purpose. We believe independence, autonomy and purpose are integral to personal growth and happiness,
resulting in prosperous communities and a better world. The Sunflower Hill project(s) will offer similar opportunities to
our underserved community members, who wish only, like our son,to spread their wings and share their gifts. We must
embody our proclamation of"A Community of Character"with action. Building this community will enrich our own. Not
doing so would be shameful and short-sighted. The measure of who we are as a city is tested by projects such as these.
You have the chance to change lives for the better by moving forward with Sunflower Hill, which will make us a stronger
community!
Regards-
Kelly Hewitt& Don Errigo (18 year residents)
1
