City Manager Subject: Agenda Item 15 — Zoning Code Update City Council Members Please find enclosed proposed language related to Item 15, the Zoning Code Update to address comments received on the draft code amendment Text proposed to be changed is shown in holld Tec: in enclosed Table 18 44 080 The changes are summarized as follows l "Medium electricity generator facilities" and "Medium fuel cell facilities" would be subject to a Conditional Use Permit in the I-P and 1-G Districts to align with the current code 2 "Large electricity generator facilities" and "Large fuel cell facilities" would be subject to a Conditional Use Permit in the I-G District to align with the current code 3 Footnote #12 would say, '`the use shall be in accord with the provisions of Chapter 18 124 of this title," instead of saying, "a large electricity generator facility shall be " (emphasis added) such that it applies to both large electricity generator facilities and large fuel cell facilities 4 The following use category, `public utility and public service facilities including pumping stations, power lransmrssion stations,power distribution stations, equipment buildings sei vice yar ds, drainageways and structures, water r eset von s,percolation basins, well fields, and storage tanks," would be subject to a Conditional Use Permit in the I-P District to align with the current code (and be subject to a Conditional Use Permit in the 1-G District, where is it currently permitted) 5 The footnotes for the Regional Commercial Districts [C-R(m) and CR(p)] have been adjusted to be more prominent within the table
