$750 in June 2015, and if it had been adopted, would increase to $780 (rounded down to <br /> the nearest whole dollar) based on the CCI adjustment effective January 2017 <br /> At that same June 16, 2015 meeting, City Council raised the fee for Conditional Use <br /> Permits that require Planning Commission review from the original $150 to $750 (and not <br /> to $3,000 as suggested by the fee study) At this time, staff is proposing no increase in <br /> the fee for Conditional Use Permits until review of the Fiscal Year 2017-18 budget, <br /> resulting in a $780 application fee for both Minor Conditional Use Permits and Conditional <br /> Use Permits Attachment 2 to this report is a resolution that proposes to establish this <br /> fee for the Minor Conditional Use Permit process in the Master Fee Schedule <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> Notice of this public hearing was published in The Valley Times, was noted in the <br /> Pleasanton Weekly, and was shared through the City's online media As part of the <br /> outreach efforts related to the Zoning Code update, staff has presented the draft code <br /> update to the Economic Vitality Committee, Economic Development & Government <br /> Relations Committee of the Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Vitality Committee <br /> and Board of Directors of the Pleasanton Downtown Association, and invited all of these <br /> groups to participate in a stakeholder meeting on November 9, 2016 An email <br /> notification has been sent to interested parties to inform them of this item proceeding to <br /> City Council The letters received in advance of the Planning Commission hearing are <br /> attached as Attachment 5 to this report <br /> GENERAL PLAN CONFORi "CITY <br /> California State law (Government Code Section 65860) requires a zoning ordinance to be <br /> consistent with the general plan of the city The proposed modifications to the Zoning <br /> Code are consistent with the following programs of the Economic and Fiscal Element <br /> (EFE) of the General Plan <br /> EFE Program 6 3 Streamline and provide more certainty in the <br /> development review process <br /> EFE Program 6 4 Work in cooperation with the business community to <br /> make city processes understandable, open, and <br /> accessible <br /> The proposed Zoning Code update will streamline review processes for routine uses with <br /> the Minor Conditional Use Permit process, and is intended to simplify the existing code <br /> language and streamline the code's overall organization Staff has conducted a number <br /> of stakeholder meetings to inform and involve interested parties in the update <br /> ENVIRON'1 ENTAL ASSESSMENT <br /> This project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to <br /> Section 15061(b)(3), as it has been determined that the Municipal Code amendment will <br /> not cause a significant negative effect on the environment The changes to the Zoning <br /> Page 8 of 9 <br />
