THE CITY OF <br /> ©_ — IIIfFlIiI �e 111 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON© <br /> January 17, 2017 <br /> Community Development <br /> TITLE: RE-RATIFY APPOINTMENTS TO THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN <br /> UPDATE TASK FORCE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On October 4, 2016, the City Council ratified appointments to the ten member Downtown <br /> Specific Plan Update Task Force comprised of two City Council representatives, two <br /> Planning Commissioners, two Pleasanton Downtown Association representatives, one <br /> Economic Vitality Committee member, and three at-large representatives It has <br /> subsequently been determined that two members have a conflict of interest, this requires <br /> two replacement appointees to the Task Force be selected, as well as a Planning <br /> Commission alternate <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council ratify the replacement representatives to serve on <br /> the Downtown Specific Plan Task Force, as follows <br /> 1 Justin Brown representing the Planning Commission <br /> 2 David Nagler as Alternate for the Planning Commission <br /> 3 Sylvia Tian as Alternate for the Economic Vitality Committee <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be no significant fiscal impact for the City as a result of initiating the Task Force <br /> as support for these entities will be provided by City staff members <br />
