RESOLUTION NO. 16-902 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCEPTING THE FY 2015/16 YEAR-END OPERATING BUDGET AND DESIGNATING GENERAL FUND RESERVES WHEREAS, each year a report of financial condition of the Operating Budget is presented to Council, and WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1: It accepts the June 30, 2016 Fund Balances as shown in Attachment 2 SECTION 2: It ratifies the City's $2 3 million FY 2015/16 contribution to DSRSD-EBMUD Recycled Water Authority (DERWA) for the Pleasanton Recycled Water Infrastructure Expansion Project SECTION 3: It designates General Fund Reserves for existing and future, known and unknown, obligations as shown in Attachment 2 for all funds and as follows for the General Fund Year- End General Fund - Fund Balance Reserve Recommended Ending Fund Designations Amended Budget Budget Adjustments Balance General Fund Reserve $18,867,535 $868,475 $19,736,010 Committed Fund Balance (CIP and R&R Fund Reserves) 840,000 - 840,000 Total $19,707,535 $868,475 $20,576,010 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on the December 6, 2016 I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting on the 6th day of December, 2016 by the following vote Ayes Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne Noes None Absent None Abstain None rai■- ALL i■tdifir Kare Diaz, City le APPROVED AS TO FORM -//a r d' Daniel G Sodergren, City Atti'ney
