RESOLUTION NO. 16-899 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING THE ''//ASTER FEE SCHEUDULE REGARDING NOTARY PUBLIC FEES <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the City Clerk provides notary services to the public, and <br /> WHEREAS, on February 7, 2006 the City of Pleasanton added the State of California <br /> Notary Public fee in the amount of$10 per signature to the master fee schedule, and <br /> WHEREAS, AB 2217 becomes effective on January 1, 2017 which raises the state <br /> mandated fee to $15 per signature <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERi IONE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECT ION 1 Amend the Notary Public fee on the Master Fee schedule to $15 per <br /> signature <br /> SECTION 2 This resolution shall become effective January 1, 2017 <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on December 6, 2016 <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of <br /> December 2016, by the following vote <br /> Ayes Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent.
