New Tennis Courts
Dear Pleasanton City Council Members,
Please support the building of two additional courts at the Pleasanton Tennis Complex. In August, I spoke highly in favor
of the long-awaited (and long promised!) courts at the council meeting. I have been captaining teams in Pleasanton
since 2002 and can attest to the need for more courts to satisfy the demand for league and recreational play. I endorse
Alternative 3, which mitigates the parking impact of the build, which may cost more in the short run but may save more
in the long run, given the additional costs likely needed to provide future parking spaces if either of the first two
alternatives are selected.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding my position. My family has long enjoyed the
amenities at the Tennis Complex and would like to see an expansion to 12 courts in order to meet the demands of our
tennis community.
Many thanks.
Jeannie Pullen
Pleasanton
1
