I ._� oe <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> December 6, 2016 <br /> City Manager's Office <br /> Office of the City Clerk <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL <br /> MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD NOVEMBER 8, 2016 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> A General Municipal Election was held on November 8, 2016 for the purpose of electing <br /> a Mayor, two members of the City Council and voting on Measure MM, a proposed <br /> ordinance to amend the City's General Plan concerning zoning for the Johnson Drive <br /> Economic Development Zone The City consolidated its election with the State General <br /> Election and contracted with Alameda County Registrar of Voters to canvass the <br /> returns The Registrar of Voters has completed the official canvass and has provided <br /> the City with a Statement of the Results of all votes cast for each candidate and the <br /> measure <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt the Resolution Reciting the Facts of the General Municipal Election held on <br /> November 8, 2016, declaring the results and such other matters as provided by law <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with this action <br /> Submitted by, Approved by <br /> 0( <br /> Karen Diaz Nelson Fialho <br /> City Clerk City Manager <br /> Attachment <br /> 1 Resolution <br />
