City of Pleasanton 6621 300 004 Valley Avenue Recycling - Water Main Extension October 25, 2016 PROPOSAL FOR CONTINUED TESTING AND OBSERVATION SERVICES Page 2 Reporting of our field observations and test results to your designated Inspector on a daily basis We will consider the Inspector to be responsible for tracking and mitigating items of non-compliance For the part-time site testing and observation services, we have assumed that our fees will be approximately $3,300 per week, assuming that our Field Representative will be onsite an average of approximately 20 hours per week (4-hours per day, 5 days per week) This estimate considers prevailing wage and daylight work hours, nightshift and overtime are not included For budgeting purposes, we have assumed the contractor will require our services for 5 weeks of construction, for an estimated total of$16,500 In addition, we have budgeted $1,000 for laboratory testing of import backfill and aggregate base during the project Our engineering staff will be available on an as-needed requested basis Testing and Observation Report We can prepare necessary letters regarding our testing and observation services that you request Please budget approximately $1,500 for the preparation of documents if needed AUTHORIZATION We propose to perform our services describe herein for an estimated fee of$17,500 An optional budget of$1,500 can be set aside if any final letters are necessary If you are in agreement with the scope of services and fee outlined above, please forward a Task Order as our formal authorization to proceed under the terms of our On-Call Professional Services Agreement with the City of Pleasanton We appreciate the opportunity to submit this proposal and look forward to serving you on this project If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us Sincerely, ENGEO Incorporated Seema Barua Julia A Mori. y Staff Engineer Principal
