20.24.010 California Fire Code Adopted A. The International Fire Code, 2015 Edition, including both building standards and non- building standards, as amended and set forth in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 9, published by the International Code Council is hereby adopted, together with additional Appendices D, E (informational purposes), and F (informational purposes) except as set forth in this chapter. For Chapter 11, only those sections adopted by the State Fire Marshal are adopted. B. The International Fire Code (IFC) adopted by reference for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion in this chapter by reference is amended by the following additions, deletions and amendments thereto as set forth in this chapter. Reference numbers herein are taken from the 2016 California Fire Code (CFC). C. These regulations shall be known as the Pleasanton Fire Code, hereinafter referred to as "this code." D. Where there is a reference in the code to the "Fire Official," "Fire Code Official" or "Authority Having Jurisdiction," it shall mean the "Fire Chief" or in the absence of the Fire Chief, the Fire Marshal. 20.24.015 CFC Sections 104.9 Alternate Materials, CFC Section 1.11.4 Fees and CFC Section 113 Fees deleted. Chapter 1 Division I Section 1.11.4 Fees is deleted and replaced by PMC 20.04.310; Section 104.9 Alternate materials and methods is deleted and replaced by PMC 20.04.050; Section 113 Fees is deleted and replaced by PMC 20.04.310. 20.24.020 CFC Chapter 1, Division II, Table 105.6.9 amended — Permit Amounts for Compressed Gases.
