EXHIBIT B <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1562 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR ALISAL LODGE #321, FILED <br />UNDER UP- 77 -13. <br />WHEREAS, Alisal Lodge #321 has filed for a conditional use permit to <br />allow the construction and use of a masonic lodge to be <br />located at the intersection of Hopyard Road and Valley <br />Trails Drive South; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />zoning for the property is RM -2500 (Multiple Residential) <br />District; and <br />the Planning Commission, on September 14, 1977, held a <br />public hearing on this request at which time all pertinent <br />documents, maps, reports and testimony were heard by the <br />Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />A. That because of its location on a major thoroughfare <br />and the design of the project the conditional use is in <br />accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or maintained <br />will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, <br />or welfare, or materially injurious to the properties <br />or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING cOMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP- 77 -13, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That the site be developed substantially as shown on <br />the site plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning <br />Department. That it is realized that the site plan <br />is preliminary in nature and, therefore, the configura- <br />tion of structures and the number of parking spaces <br />may change in the future. With this in mind, the <br />guiding standards for the development of the site shall <br />be that structures not total more than approximately <br />-- 20,000 sq. ft. in area and that the buildings be <br />designed so that activities will be focused toward the <br />southern portion of the subject property. That access <br />to the site shall be via Valley Trails Drive only. <br />
