117. Dead-end fire service water mains shall not exceed 500 feet in length and/or have more <br /> than five Fire Department appliances* shall be looped around the site or building and <br /> have a minimum of two points of water supply or street connection. Zone valves shall be <br /> installed as recommended under NFPA, Pamphlet 24 and the Fire Marshal. <br /> "Note: Fire Department appliances are classified as fire sprinkler system risers, fire <br /> hydrants, and/or standpipes. <br /> 118. All buildings undergoing construction, alteration or demolition shall comply with the <br /> California Fire Code currently in effect pertaining to the use of any hazardous materials, <br /> flame-producing devices, asphalt/tar kettles, etc. <br /> URBAN STORMWATER CONDITIONS <br /> 119. Source control, sight design measures, and design and implementation of <br /> stormwater treatment measures are required when commercial, industrial or <br /> residential development creates and replaces 10,000 square feet or more of <br /> impervious surface, including roof area, streets and sidewalk. <br /> b. Hydro-modification standards are required when a new development or <br /> redevelopment project creates and replaces total impervious area of one acre or <br /> more. <br /> c.
