Dear Mayor Thorne, <br /> Our beautiful Tennis and Community park is a treasure here in Pleasanton. With all the <br /> building going on this beautiful park is a calm and peaceful refuge for families, children, <br /> dog walkers, tennis players, casual walkers,joggers, picnics, Tai Chi, photography, and <br /> relaxation. There are many more beautiful qualities this park holds and I would like to <br /> keep it the way it is. <br /> We already have 10 tennis courts at our park which seems quite enough as there are <br /> times when few are using the courts. It is a Community park as well. We all like, very <br /> much, our beautiful trees and large lawn area. There are rare birds that nest in those <br /> trees and they'd be lost if we remove them. <br /> If you haven't used out park for a walk, or picnic why don't you give it a try. It's peaceful <br /> as it is. <br /> Please consider adding Tennis Courts to the new Bernal Park. It will take the traffic out <br /> of our already congested area at Camino Segura and Paseo Santa Cruz and move it to a <br /> more open space such as the Bernal Park where there are lots of parking options. <br /> Patti Taylor <br /> 2 <br />
