I have lived two blocks from the tennis park for 28 years and reared four sons who are now adults, but spent plenty of time at the "tennis" park, not usually playing tennis though. I walk my dogs through the park regularly and enjoy the beauty of the "green space" sections of the park. Families and occasional pint-sized athletic teams regularly use the space dedicated for the new courts because it is the largest level space in the park. Birthday and family parties are frequently held in this area as well. While I DID research the plans for the tennis park when I purchased my home, I also seem to recall at one point a decision being made to "table" the addition of extra tennis courts. It seems irresponsible to me to remove the lovely, mature trees in this area. I understand, especially with the changing demographics in our community that tennis is more
