I have lived <br /> two blocks from the tennis park for 28 years and reared four sons who are now adults, but spent <br /> plenty of time at the "tennis" park, not usually playing tennis though. I walk my dogs through the park <br /> regularly and enjoy the beauty of the "green space" sections of the park. Families and occasional <br /> pint-sized athletic teams regularly use the space dedicated for the new courts because it is the largest <br /> level space in the park. Birthday and family parties are frequently held in this area as well. <br /> While I DID research the plans for the tennis park when I purchased my home, I also seem to recall at <br /> one point a decision being made to "table" the addition of extra tennis courts. It seems irresponsible <br /> to me to remove the lovely, mature trees in this area. <br /> I understand, especially with the changing demographics in our community that tennis is more <br />
