Our family lives in Pleasanton and we are avid tennis players and fans. I use the tennis courts on a
regular basis and have done so since they were new.
The tennis facility is a very tangible, popular asset to our City and community— one that we can all be proud of. It is
special in the Tri Valley area.
Both the Adult and Junior tennis programs are flourishing beyond the point where more courts are needed to meet
demand— that is a GOOD thing for Pleasanton! Two courts will add 20% capacity. These 2 courts were always intended
in the original planning of the tennis park many years ago. Their construction has already been delayed a very long
time— long enough. Now is the time to proceed as scheduled.
1
