Discussion followed regarding accessibility of the data, the customer portal app, battery packs and <br />emergency shut - downs. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Pentin /Brown to approve a contract with Delta Engineering Sales, LLC in the <br />amount of $7,181,782 for the design, procurement and installation of the City -owned portion of the <br />Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Councilmember Olson <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br />Mayor Thome commented on a recent meeting where a presentation was displayed regarding the <br />extension of BART to Livermore, and requested a presentation to City Council regarding same. <br />Councilmember Brown stated she looks forward to see a report regarding the parking situation, <br />downtown. Staff indicated a report will be presented in July. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS - None <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjoumed at 9:25 p.m. in memory Evelyn Grace <br />Moller, a native Pleasanton resident, who passed away at the age of 102. The Council extended a <br />tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
