• Expanded Parking: An item to consider for the longer -term would be to enhance
public parking opportunities as part of the potential redevelopment of the Civic
Center site, assuming all civic uses are moved to the Bernal property. Similarly,
another item to consider is advancing plans for a parking structure at the Bank of
America site, which is anticipated to be the most suitable site from a cost and
locational perspective.
NEXT STEPS
Staff seeks the City Council's and public's comments on this draft of the Parking Plan,
which is attached to this staff report. Staff will provide this report to the Pleasanton
Downtown Association, the Economic Vitality Committee and other interested parties for
review. The report will also be presented to the Planning Commission for review and
comment before returning to the City Council to request final review and adoption.
Submitted by:
Gerry Be udin
Director of
Community Development
Nelson Fialho
City Manager
Submitted by: Fiscal Review:
ItijV
amela Ott
irector of Economic
Development
Tina Olson
Director of Finance
Attachments:
1.
