Ca tlendge Trailhead Addendum <br /> site grading, fill in an ephemeral stream, and change the approved public street to a private street. <br /> This application is currently being reviewed by the City. <br /> Alviso Adobe Community Park <br /> The 1854 Francisco Solano Alviso Adobe that was once part of the dairy on the Austin Property <br /> still exists on the 7-acre Alviso Adobe Community Park site located between Foothill Road and Old <br /> Foothill Road, and is a registered California Historical Landmark (#510). The Alviso Adobe <br /> Community Park, opened in October of 2008 after a decade of planning efforts, serves both as a <br /> historical and environmental resource, offering interpretive and interactive programs to City <br /> residents and visitors, including walking trails and exhibits. A 27-space parking area is located at <br /> the southern portion of the site. <br /> 3.3 PLEASANTON GENERAL PLAN AND ZONINGS <br /> Castleridge Property <br /> The Castleridge Property has two General Plan land use designations: Agriculture and Grazing for <br /> the upslope lands generally located to the west of the Calaveras Fault, and Rural Density <br /> Residential, allowing for 1 dwelling unit per 5 gross acres, for the lands to the east of the fault. The <br /> zoning designation for the entirety of the property is Agriculture. Development on the parcel is also <br /> controlled by the guidelines set forth in the West Foothill Corridor Overlay District of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code and Measures PP, QQ, and F, which relate to hillside protection and <br /> protection of ridgelands. The General Plan, Municipal Code, and approved ballot measures seek to <br /> preserve the scenic views, open space and rural character of the Pleasanton Ridgelands. The site is <br /> not connected to water, sewer, or utility infrastructure, although connection to City water <br /> infrastructure is available off of Old Foothill Road (the closest sewer connection is located on <br /> Foothill Road). <br /> Austin Property <br /> The Austin Property has a General Plan land use designation of Low Density Residential on the <br /> approximately 8-acre portion of the site designated for residential uses and Open Space - <br /> Agriculture and Grazing on the remaining 22 acres. The zoning designations, similar to the General <br /> Plan land use designations, are Planned Unit Development— Low Density Residential District on 8 <br /> acres and Planned Unit Development — Open Space/Agriculture and Grazing District on the <br /> remaining 22 acres. Development on the site is subject to the guidelines of the West Foothill <br /> Corridor Overlay District. <br /> Alviso Adobe Community Park <br /> The Alviso Adobe Community Park site has a General Plan land use designation of Parks and <br /> Recreation.
