d/ariety of programs include: Adobe Brick Making, Butter Making, Apple Pressing, Making Ice Cream, Campfires, etc. 1Summer months have fewer weekend programs due to staff involved with summer camps 4vIost events have two staff members and some use docents/volunteers 4'he main parking lot for weekend program is typically sufficient; however, a few programs due require program visitors to find parking on Old Foothill Camps: o 16 week long camps throughout the year, Spring Break, Summer and Winter Break o Total number of participants o 552, most popular is summer Ridge Runners o (4) Wittles Camp (M-F Camp) o Ages 4—6 o Summer: four days of the week (typically M-Th) at Alviso Adobe o times are from 9am— 1 pm, o parents do not stay - drop off and pick up in main parking lot and at entrance on Old Foothill o (7) Ridge Runners camp o Ages 7-11 o Summer: one day of the week(typically Fridays) this camp meets at Alviso Adobe o Parents do not stay—drop off and pick up in main parking lot and at entrance on Old Foothill o Times are from 8:30am—3:30pm. o Outside locations Augustin Bernal, Bernal Community Park, The Preserve, Shadow Cliff, Sunol Regional Park, Lake del Valle Park, and Shadow Cliffs. o (2)Advanced Ridge Runner o Ages 11-15 o No days at Alviso Adobe o Times are 8:30—3:30pm o Locations same as Ridge Runners plus Mt Diablo State Park and Stainslaus River Park. o A bus is brought in to transport to these two locations. (Bus pick up is at Alviso Adobe) o (1) RR Leadership o Ages 12— 16 o One day at Alviso Park (typically on Fridays). This camp is for training volunteers to assist with other summer camps o Parents do not stay—drop off and pick up in main parking lot and at entrance on Old Foothill o (1) Spring Break Camp and(1) Winter Break Camp are ages 7— 11. o These camps are similar to Ridge Runners Camp o One day of the week (typically Fridays) this camp meets at Alviso Adobe o Parents do not stay—drop off and pick up in main parking lot and at entrance on Old Foothill o Times are from 8:30am—3:30pm. o Outside locations Augustin Bernal, Bernal Community Park, The Preserve, Shadow Cliff, Sunol Regional Park, Lake del Valle Park, and Shadow Cliffs. Special Events in 2016(free open to public): ✓ Fall Festival—Saturday, September 24, 11 am—3pm, Est. Attend. 350 @ Adobe ✓ Parking is at capacity for this event. All of the parking lot, Old Foothill and many areas on Austin are used for parking for this event.
