ORDINANCE NO. 2146 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATIONS OF WORKDAY, INC. FOR PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT (PUD) MAJOR MODIFICATIONS, AS FILED UNDER <br /> CASES PUD-104-1M AND PUD-81-22-15M <br /> WHEREAS, Workday, Inc. has applied for Planned Unit Development Major <br /> Modifications to construct a six-story, approximately 410,000-square-foot office building, <br /> parking garage, and related site improvements at 6110 and 6120-6160 Stoneridge Mall <br /> Road (the "Project") instead of the previously-approved plans to construct a six-story, <br /> approximately 430,000-square-foot office building, two parking garages, and related site <br /> improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, zoning for the properties is Planned Unit Development—Mixed Use <br /> and Planned Unit Development—Commercial-Office Districts; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its public hearing on April 13, 2016, the Planning Commission <br /> adopted Resolution 2016-11, determining that the proposed PUD major modifications are <br /> appropriate for the site, making findings, and recommending to the Pleasanton City <br /> Council that PUD-104-1M and PUD-81-22-15M be approved; and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 17, 2016, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing <br /> on this application and considered all public testimony, agenda reports, and related <br /> materials, and the recommendations of City staff and the Planning Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the conditions described in <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15162 have not <br /> occurred and found that the previously-adopted Initial Study/Mitigated Negative <br /> Declaration prepared for the previously-approved project (PUD-104/PUD-81-22-14M) is <br /> adequate to serve as the environmental documentation for the Project and satisfy all the <br /> requirements of CEQA; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton City Council finds that the proposed PUD major <br /> modifications are consistent with the City's General Plan and purposes of the PUD <br /> ordinance. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Approves Cases PUD-104-1M and PUD-81-22-15M, the <br /> applications of Workday, Inc. for Planned Unit Development major modifications to <br /> construct a six-story, approximately 410,000-square-foot office building, parking garage, <br /> and related site improvements at 6110 and 6120-6160 Stoneridge Mall Road, subject to <br />
