THE CITY OF 9 <br /> {rti ' ( CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTONC <br /> June 7, 2016 <br /> Community Services Department <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BAY <br /> AREA CHILDREN'S THEATRE IN THE AMOUNT OF $122,640 FOR <br /> CHILDREN'S THEATRICAL PRODUCTION SERVICES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Community Services Department is requesting approval for its Services Agreement <br /> with the Bay Area Children's Theatre (BACT) for children's theatrical production <br /> services for FY 2016/17. Services include: professional, artistic, technical and <br /> administrative support for three (3) annual children's theatrical productions. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the Services Agreement (Attachment 1) with the Bay Area Children's Theatre <br /> in the amount of$122,640 for children's theatrical production services. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed compensation amount in the Services Agreement with the Bay Area <br /> Children's Theatre for children's theatrical production services is not to exceed <br /> $122,640 annually. The initial term for this agreement is for one year, with the possibility <br /> of two (2), one-year extensions. The expense of this agreement will be offset by <br /> revenues derived from ticket sales, school concerts, and participation fees. Funding for <br /> this agreement has been budgeted in the FY 2016/2017 Operating Budget in accounts <br /> #416527 and #416577. <br />
