CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> April 19, 2016 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Brown led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Olson, Narum, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: Councilmember Pentin <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> Interim City Attorney Julie Harryman reported the City Council met in Closed Session and that there <br /> was no reportable action taken. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes of March 1, regular and special meeting minutes of March 15, <br /> 2016 <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 3. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2139 amending Title 11, Chapter 11.20, <br /> Section 11.20.010 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code changing various speed limits on City of <br /> Pleasanton streets <br /> 4. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 16-841 approving the Annual Progress Report <br /> on Implementation of the General Plan Housing Element for calendar year 2015 and authorize <br /> submittal to the California Department of Housing and Community Development and the <br /> Governor's Office of Planning and Research <br /> Engineering <br /> 5. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 16-842 authorizing staff to submit an Out-of- <br /> Area Service Agreement application to LAFCo for properties already connected to City Sewer <br /> and/or water utilities <br /> 6. Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids, awarded and authorized the City Manager to <br /> execute a contract with Cleary Bros. in the amount of $545,291 for the Bernal Property Off-Leash <br /> Dog Park project, CIP No. 147034; approved an additional appropriate in the amount of $192,650 <br /> from the In-Lieu Park Dedication Fee Reserve Fund to the Bernal Property Off-Leash Dog Park <br /> and authorized the Director of Engineering to approve and execute changes orders not to exceed <br /> $54,709 <br />
