Addendum A <br /> Joint Labor Management Meetings <br /> The City and the Union agree to discuss ongoing labor and management issues. The Committee <br /> consists of Union and City representatives and may involve subject matter experts as needed. <br /> Meetings will be scheduled every other month or as mutually agreed upon. Agendas will be <br /> submitted in advance to the other party. <br /> Issues to be discussed in this setting may include but are not limited to clarification of City <br /> practices and benefits; improvement of communications between the parties; budgetary updates; <br /> impact of State or Federal legislation and safety issues including joint training suggestions. <br /> Specific project priorities and timelines will be jointly established by the committee. <br /> Matters not appropriate for Committee discussion are grievances and disciplinary matters or <br /> matters subject to meet and confer pursuant to the Meyers Milias Brown Act. <br /> During the term of this MOU (April 1, 2016—March 31, 2019),the parties agree to confer the <br /> Joint-Labor Management Committee to discuss comparable agencies and benchmark <br /> classifications to be surveyed. The meeting shall take place not less than six months prior to <br /> expiration of the 2016-2019 MOU. Criteria shall include agencies of similar size, similar <br /> budget, similar sources of revenue and similar scope of operations. <br /> -57 - <br />
