approved fire apparatus access roads capable of accommodating fire department <br />aerial apparatus. Fire apparatus access roads shall have a minimum unobstructed <br />width of 26 feet in the immediate vicinity of any building or portion of building more <br />than 30 feet (9144 mm) in height. At least one of the required access routes meeting <br />this condition shall be located within a minimum of 15 feet (4572 mm) and a <br />maximum of 30 feet (9144 mm) from the building, and shall be positioned parallel to <br />one entire side of the building. <br />e. The carrying capacity of the access route(s) shall be 69,000 pounds under all <br />weather conditions. <br />f. Designated construction material storage and construction worker parking shall not <br />obstruct the emergency vehicle access route(s). <br />g. On -site fire hydrants shall be in service. Fire hydrants shall be flushed and all valves <br />open. <br />Urban Stormwater <br />95.
