CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 780 <br /> AN ORDINANCE <br /> REZONING APPROXIMATELY 2.4 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED <br /> BETWEEN THE VALLEY PLAZA COMMERCIAL COMPLEX AND <br /> THE EL RANCHO MOTEL ON THE WEST SIDE OF SANTA RITA <br /> ROAD FROM A (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT TO C-C (CENTRAL <br /> COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT AS SHOWN ON ZONING UNIT ~P #150 <br /> <br /> S, the Planning Commission, 'by their Resolution No. 1394 <br /> adopted at their regular meeting of February 11, 1976, <br /> recommended to the City Council the rezoning of certain <br /> property located on the west sideof Santa Rita Road <br /> between the Valley Plaza Commercial Complex and the E1 <br /> <br /> Rancho Motel from A (Agricultural) District to C-C ( <br /> Conrn~rcial) District; and <br /> <br /> S, this matter was heard by the City Council of the City of <br /> <br /> Pleasanton at a Public Hearing held at their meeting on <br /> <br /> March 15, 1976; and <br /> <br /> B, this rezoning has been deemed to be consistent with the <br /> General Plan of the City and is in the public interest <br /> and general welfare; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section I. The parcel of property approximately 2.4 acres in size <br /> located on the west side of Santa Rita Road between the <br /> Valley Plaza Commercial Complex and the E1 Rancho Motel <br /> is hereby rezoned from A (Agricultural) District to C-C <br /> (Central Commercial) District as shown on Zoning Unit <br /> <br /> Map No. 150, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and the Zoning <br /> Map of the City of Pleasanton of the City of Pleasanton <br /> is amended accordingly. <br /> <br />Section 2o Zoning Unit Map No. 150, dated March 23, 1976, on file <br /> with the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part <br /> <br /> <br />
