RESOLUTION NO. 16-824 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR LIONS WAYSIDE AND <br /> DELUCCHI PARKS MASTER PLAN PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 16, 2016, the City Council received a proposed <br /> Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks Master Plan Project, <br /> which envisions unifying and reprogramming the two parks to improve function, safety, and <br /> aesthetics; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated October <br /> 2015, and received the recommendation of the staff; and <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 16, 2016, at which time <br /> the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks <br /> Master Plan Project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council approves the Negative Declaration for the Lions <br /> Wayside and Delucchi Parks Master Plan Project. <br /> SECTION 2. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed <br /> pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on the February 16, 2016. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 16th day of <br /> February, 2016, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Karen iaz, City rk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> FHarryman, Inten ey <br />
