Attachment 1 <br /> LAST WILL OF <br /> JEAN PHYLLIS JONES <br /> The following constitutes the last Will and Testament of JEAN PHYLLIS JONES,a <br /> resident of Alameda County,California All of her previous wills and codicils are hereby <br /> revoked <br /> ARTICLE ONE <br /> INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS <br /> 1 1 Marital Status I am not currently married <br /> 1 2 No Children I have never had any children <br /> 1 3 No Contract Affecting Will I have not entered into any contract to make a will or a <br /> testamentary gift,not to revoke a will or a testamentary gift,or to die intestate <br /> ARTICLE TWO <br /> GIFT OF ENTIRE ESTATE <br /> 2 1. Entire Estate I give all of my estate,including all real and personal property <br /> wheresoever situated,in trust for the benefit of the City of Pleasanton and its residents on the <br /> following terms and conditions <br /> (a) Historical Preservation. The trustee shall undertake to preserve the <br /> historic character of the real property at 309 Neal Street,Pleasanton, <br /> California,and if possible have it officially designated an histoncal site by <br /> the City of Pleasanton and/or County of Alameda and/or not for profit <br /> organization whose mission is historic preservation In this connection,I <br /> request that the trustee consult the Pleasanton Heritage Association and/or <br /> Amador-Livermore Valley Historical Society My preferred use for the <br /> property is as a local history museum,and I direct the trustee to work with <br /> City and County officials to convert the property to a museum or some <br /> comparable use for the public good,such as offices for an historical <br /> society <br /> (b) Tangible Personal Property My tangible personal property of historic <br /> significance located at 309 Neal Street at the time of my death shall,to the <br /> extent possible,be exhibited m the home indefinitely,whether or not the <br /> property is used as a museum. <br /> (c) Sale of Real Property In the event there is no feasible way to maintain the <br /> property at 309 Neal Street,Livermore,California,as an historic site for <br /> the benefit of the City of Pleasanton and its residents,due to a shortage of <br /> liquid assets,legal restrictions,or other legal barriers,then the trustee may <br />
