CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> January 5, 2015 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7 00 p m and led the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present Councilmembers Brown, Olson, Pentin, Narum, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> Interim City Attorney Julie Harryman reported that the City Council met in Closed Session to discuss <br /> the matter of Allen vs the City of Pleasanton There was no reportable action <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Councilmember Brown requested Item 1 be moved to the regular agenda <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Community Development <br /> 1 PUD-25, GHC Lund Ranch, LLC— Moved to the Regular Agenda <br /> (a) Second reading and adoption of Ordinance No 2133 approving the application of Greenbriar <br /> Homes Communities for Planned Unit Development (PUD) Rezoning and Development Plan <br /> approval of 43 homes, as filed under Case PUD-25 — Councilmember Brown Voted No <br /> (b) Second reading and adoption of Ordinance No 2134 approving a Development Agreement <br /> between the City of Pleasanton and Greenbnar Homes Communities — Councilmember Brown <br /> Voted No <br /> (c) Adopt by resolution the revised CEQA Findings and the Mitigation and Monitoring and <br /> Reporting program, and <br /> (d) Authorize staff to take appropriate steps to effectuate Council's intent consistent with the <br /> above approvals <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> 2 Public Comment <br /> Carrie Cox, representing Cox Family stores located at Johnson Drive and Stonendge, <br /> mentioned that her family business is in its fortieth (40th) year and family members all work in <br /> the business They have never spoken against another business entering the market and their <br /> objective is to be the best business they can be She expressed concerns regarding <br /> undetermined costs, traffic, and infrastructure impacts if a big box store is developed in their <br /> location <br />
