RESOLUTION NO. 15-803 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON SETTING <br /> COMPENSATION AND AMENDING THE MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL <br /> EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, compensation for the City's Management and Confidential employees, <br /> except the City Manager and City Attorney, is set forth in the City's Management and <br /> Confidential Employees Compensation Plan, and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to <br /> increase the salary control points for each Management and Confidential classification to allow <br /> for performance-based salary increases not to exceed a pool equal to 3% of Management and <br /> Confidential compensation, and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to <br /> amend the provisions of the Management and Confidential Employee Compensation Plan to <br /> include City contributions of 0 5% of base wages into a deferred compensation plan and a <br /> minimum employee contribution of$25 per month toward employee medical premiums <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1 Approves a revision to the salary control point schedule, effective <br /> September 12, 2015, for Management and Confidential employees, increasing the salary control <br /> points for each Management and Confidential classification by 3%, allowing for performance- <br /> based salary increases not to exceed a pool equal to 3% of Management and Confidential <br /> compensation <br /> SECTION 2 Approves revisions to the Management Compensation Plan, effective <br /> January 2, 2016, to include City contributions of 0 5% of base wages into a deferred <br /> compensation plan and a minimum employee contribution of $25 per month toward employee <br /> medical premiums <br /> SECTION 3 This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on the November 17, 2015 <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of <br /> November 2015, by the following vote <br /> Ayes Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes None <br /> Absent None <br /> Abstain None <br />
