Eric Luchini
From:
Sent: Tuesday, November 17, 2015 3:04 PM
To: Eric Luchini
Subject: P14-1024
We live at 730 Peters Avenue directly across the street from the proposed project at 377 St. Mary Street(P14-1024)and
would like to express our concerns with the proposal. We built our house 11 years ago on a site identical to the subject
property. At that time, we were limited to a 1200 square-foot,one story house. When we built, we did not eliminate any
on-street parking;we made use of the existing driveway. Now, Fireside Investors are proposing a project that consists
of 3 three-story homes on the same size parcel. They will be the only residential buildings on the entire east side of
Peters Ave and will be the only 3-story buildings in the neighborhood or in the downtown area and will look too massive in
relationship to everything around them.
Another concern is that there will be 3 driveways on Peters, taking away from the on-the-street parking needed in the
downtown area. Anyone trying to find downtown parking knows how hard it can be, especially during one of the many
events held in the downtown area. Is there parking for the proposed commercial building in front or will that also
necessitate the need for on the street parking?
We hope that you will give serious consideration to our concerns.
Thank you.
Emil and Marjorie Oxsen
Click here to report this email as spam.
