ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15- <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> CERTIFYING AS ADEQUATE AND COMPLETE THE FINAL <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED FOR THE LUND RANCH II <br /> DEVELOPMENT, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-25 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting as lead agency under the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report for the <br /> Lund Ranch II project which was published in July 2014 and provided proper legal notice <br /> of document preparation and availability; and ` <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a noticed public hearing on August 27, <br /> 2014 to accept oral and written comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report <br /> during the forty-five-day public review period; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has accepted and responded to comments to <br /> the Draft Environmental Impact Report received from public agencies having jurisdiction <br /> by law, persons having special expertise with respect to any environmental impact <br /> involved, and other persons or organizations having an interest in the proposed project; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been prepared and <br /> contains the Draft Environmental Impact Report, comments and recommendations <br /> received on the Draft Environmental Impact Report, and the responses of the City of <br /> Pleasanton to comments raised regarding environmental issues in the review and <br /> consultation process; and <br /> WHEREAS, at duly noticed public hearings on June 24, 2015 and August 26, <br /> 2015, the Planning Commission considered public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br /> recommendations of City staff concerning the Final Environmental Impact Report; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the Final Environmental <br /> Impact Report was adequate and complete and adopted a resolution recommending <br /> that the City Council certify the Final Environmental Impact Report as adequate and <br /> complete; and <br /> WHEREAS, on October 20, 2015, the City Council, at a publicly noticed meeting, <br /> considered the Final Environmental Impact Report, all public testimony, relevant <br /> exhibits, and the recommendations of staff and the Planning Commission concerning <br /> the Final Environmental Impact Report; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, in its independent judgment, finds that the Final <br /> Environmental Impact Report is complete and adequate. <br /> 1 <br />
