153. Dead-end fire service water mains shall not exceed 500 feet in length and/or have <br /> more than five Fire Department appliances* shall be looped around the site or <br /> building and have a minimum of two points of water supply or street connection. <br /> Zone valves shall be installed as recommended under NFPA, Pamphlet 24 and <br /> the Fire Marshal. <br /> `Note: Fire Department appliances are classified as fire sprinkler system risers, <br /> fire hydrants, and/or standpipes. <br /> 154. All buildings undergoing construction, alteration or demolition shall comply with <br /> Chapter 14 (California Fire Code currently in effect) pertaining to the use of any <br /> hazardous materials, flame-producing devices, asphalt/tar kettles, etc. <br /> URBAN STORMWATER CONDITIONS <br /> 155.
