THE CITY OF 4 <br /> — -'-I CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT 6.� <br /> FL£ASANTONO <br /> November 3, 2015 <br /> Community Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE ADDENDUM TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON AND PLEASANTON UNIFIED SCHOOL <br /> DISTRICT REGARDING THE SHARED USE OF THE TENNIS COURTS <br /> AT AMADOR VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On June 16, 2015, the City Council approved the Agreement between the Pleasanton <br /> Unified School District (PUSD) and the City of Pleasanton for the shared use of the <br /> tennis courts at Amador Valley High School (AVHS). <br /> Pleasanton City staff requested that the Shared Use Agreement be extended through <br /> June 30, 2016, in order for the City to better measure the usage of the tennis courts and <br /> determine future investments in the courts. <br /> Subsequent to the August 26th meeting, District staff met to discuss the possible <br /> impacts of extending the Agreement to students at AVHS. As a result, District staff <br /> supported the City's requests, and forwarded their recommendation to the Board of <br /> Trustees for their review and consideration. On October 13, 2015, the Pleasanton <br /> Unified School District's Board of Trustees approved extending the Agreement between <br /> the Pleasanton Unified School District and the City of Pleasanton for the shared use of <br /> the tennis courts at Amador Valley High School (AVHS) through June 30, 2016. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> That the City Council approve the addendum to the Agreement between the City of <br /> Pleasanton and Pleasanton Unified School District for the City's Shared Use of Amador <br /> Valley High School Tennis Courts (Attachment 1). <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> This extension will have no financial impact on the City unless there is a need for <br /> custodial services for the courts as a result of public use, or damage done to the courts <br /> by the public that must be repaired by the City. <br />
